Thoughts after hosting my first Space on X
There’s a first time for everything. Today I had the simple, but profound, experience of hosting a Space on 𝕏.
This was a relatively spur of the moment decision. The catalyst was a quick conversation with Mr. Barret Noble, which went something like this:
Me: Hey dude, you doing another Space this week?
Barret: Why not. Schedule it!
For those that don’t know, a Space is a public verbal conversation. People can join and listen in or speak up with their own thoughts.
I had never hosted a Space before. So, pair first timer anxiety with the typical fear of public speaking and you could say I was a bit nervous. This was out of my comfort zone.
I wasn’t expecting much. Worst case: I’d catch up with a long distance buddy and wax quixotic about writing for a few minutes.
What happened blew me away.
A group of great guys joined. A lot more than I expected. We had an engaging conversation on the benefits of the simple act of writing things down. I walked away with valuable lessons and felt got to know some of my “friends” on 𝕏 a whole lot better.
Had a ton of fun hosting my first Space. The turnout was great. Lots of guys I would like to talk to anyway. Good conversation.
Appreciate everyone who joined. Looking forward to more in the future.

I might have picked up the Spaces bug. This was too fun not to do again. If you want to hose a space together, shoot me an email and let’s see what we can do.
